The Online Public Access Catalog
The Cooperative Online Bibliografic System and Services (COBISS) offers you the possibility to access online 24 hours a day to the data banks of over 200 libraries in Slovenia for free.
At the moment there are over 3.4 million items catalogated in the system. The automatizated catalogue of Srečko Vilhar public library in Koper has over 100.000 records (the entire stock of the library consist of over 300.000 items but only the material from 1990 to now has been catalogated into the computer...).

Srečko Vilhar Public Library functions as a library of second type in Slovenia. The entire library stock amounts to over 300.000 items consists of monographic and serial publications, audio-visual material and other library material. Central acquisition and processing of library are automated in the COBISS system (Cooperative Online Bibliographic System and Services) so that the library offers information from computer databases and catalogues of libraries co-operating.
